Safety & Rescue Australia (SRA), a Calibre Global member company, has been awarded the International Safety Training Contract for Dredging Australia Pty Ltd in Belgium.
The company will commence the provision of training requirements in Beveren, Belgium before the team is deployed back to Australia where they will be delivering specialised safety training for Dredging Australia for the Port Hedland Outer Harbour Project. The training will include confined space entry and standby, gas testing, working at heights, and supervisor/leadership training.
SRA recently entered the international training market with a contract to deliver safety training for Rio Tinto at the Oyu Tolgoi mine site located in Mongolia.

“This significant contract highlights SRA’s specialist capabilities which are helping us to grow our international portfolio of projects in the safety training environment,” said Anita Hansen, Operations Manager – Western Region.
SRA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Calibre Global Pty Ltd, a diversified engineering services group operating within Australia and international markets.
